TX - Squirrel Hunting Accident Sends Liberty County Teen to Hospital

A 12-year-old Liberty County boy is recovering in a Houston Hospital after one of his friends shot him in both legs.

It happened this morning as the three were out hunting squirrels. Liberty County Sheriff Greg Arthur says one of the boys accidentally shot 12-year-old Denton Hagan while rapid-firing a gun. Sheriff Arthur says the injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
