A 16-year-old out hunting with a friend was shot and killed
Sunday in what investigators are saying was an accident.
Chester County deputies were called to 6439 Old Winnsboro Road in
Blackstock around noon Sunday to investigate a shooting.
Upon officer's arrival it was determined that two juveniles had
been hunting in a wooded area behind the residence. One juvenile
went to sit his shotgun down and it accidentally went off killing
the 16 year old, according to an investigator.
This case is still ongoing at this time.
More details as they become available.
