Danville man injured in Sunday hunting mishap

Anthony Ellison, 30, of Danville, was injured Sunday morning
while field hunting snow geese at Green Bay Bottoms, near Wever in
Lee County.
Conservation Officer Paul Kay said Ellison received a flesh wound
when he was shot in the shoulder by fellow hunter, Todd Augustine,
42, of Wever.
Ellison was treated and released from Great River Medical Center
in Burlington. The accident is currently under investigation.
Ellison and Augustine were in a group of 11 hunters.
