WILLIAMS — A 14-year-old boy was in critical but stable
condition at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis today after
accidentally shooting himself while turkey hunting.
Dakota L. Kinser of Williams was shot in the thigh, according
to Indiana Conservation Officer Mark Farmer. Lawrence County
Sheriff Sam Craig said he was injured with a 12-gauge shotgun.
Kinser was treated at Bedford Regional Medical Center before
being taken to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was listed
in critical but stable condition this morning at Methodist,
according to a spokeswoman.
