WV - Teen shot in head while hunting

An area teen is in a Morgantown hospital tonight after a hunting accident yesterday morning.
Wirt County State Police confirmed the accident happened in Wirt County, but won't release any other details due to the investigation.

A family member of the victim says 18-year-old Christopher Giffin was shot in the head near his ear while hunting with his fiance's father.

The family member says Giffin was transported to Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital and later taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital by helicopter.

He is now in good condition.
