Minn. hunter hospitalized after weekend shooting in N.D.

FARGO, N.D. - A Minnesota hunter was reported in guarded condition
at a Fargo hospital after being shot in south central North Dakota
over the weekend.
Authorities said Ron Mehl, 37, of Eden Prairie, was shot in the
chest Saturday while he was with a hunting party in a corn field near
Lehr.
The Logan County sheriff's office was investigating on Monday.
Lehr is in southern North Dakota, about 125 miles southwest of
Fargo.
