Hunter hospitalized after accidental shooting in Suffolk

SUFFOLK
A hunter is hospitalized tonight after he was accidentally shot,
police said.
Lt. Debbie George, a police spokeswoman, said the incident occurred
about 2:25 p.m. in the 4200 block of Desert Road.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, suffered injuries to his groin
and the heel of one foot, she said. He was taken to Sentara Norfolk
General Hospital by the Nightingale helicopter ambulance.
The man’s name and his condition were not released.
