Teen fatally shot while hunting near St. Albans

ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (AP) -- Police are investigating the death of a 16-year-old boy who was fatally shot while turkey hunting near St. Albans.

Kanawha County Sheriff's Lt. Sean Crosier says a relative found the unidentified teenager's body Tuesday afternoon in a wooded area after the victim did not come home as scheduled.

Neighbors reported seeing the teen entering the woods earlier in the day, carrying a gun and wearing camouflage clothing.

No other details were immediately available Tuesday night..
