Amos injured in hunting accident

On Tuesday, Nov. 4, Willy Amos, General Manager of the Hy-Vee Food
Store in Mt. Pleasant, was involved in a hunting accident and suffered
an injury to his spine.
According to a spokesperson from the Department of Natural Resources,
while hunting deer, Amos fell from an elevated tree stand approximately
25 feet above the ground.
He was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, where he is
currently being treated. A full report from the DNR is expected
following the investigation.
