State game officials said two hunters were wounded in shooting
accidents. A 15-year-old boy shot himself in the toe while unloading his
gun in Venango County and a 47-year-old man was driving deer when a
stray bullet grazed his arm in Adams County.
Game commission spokesman Jerry Feaser said one hunter was killed and
12 others wounded in accidental shootings last year in all the state's
deer seasons, including archery and muzzleloading.
