SELINSGROVE, Pa. (AP) Authorities in central Pennsylvania say a man
was shot and killed in what is being investigated as a possible hunting
accident.
Snyder County Coroner Bruce Hummel says the man was pronounced dead
at 5:51 p.m. Thursday. His name was not released. Hummel says an autopsy
is planned Friday.
Officials say the shooting happened on Old Colony Road near
Selinsgrove.
State Game Commission officials, who will be the lead investigators,
confirmed the shooting death but declined to give specifics. State
police at Selinsgrove are also declining comment.
