Reported by: Justin Myers
The death of a Central Coast man killed while hunting is being called
an accident.
48-year-old Joel Schnackenberg was over due from a hunting trip near
his home last month when search and rescue crews found him dead from a
single gunshot wound.
The San Luis Obispo County coroner's office said the angle of the
bullet lead them to conclude the gunshot was accidental.
Investigators believe a broken trigger may have played a role in the
incident.
