Two people were shot in two separate hunting incidents in Washington
County this weekend.
In the first incident, Sheriff's officials say Thomas Minton of Waterford
was loading his hunting dogs into a vehicle when his shotgun accidentally
discharged and struck his left hand.
Minton was able to drive himself to the hospital.
Officials say the second accident happened when a 13 year old girl tried
to shoot a rabbit and accidentally shot a twelve-year old boy in the elbow.
One of the adults supervising the group, drove the boy to Marietta
Memorial Hospital. DNR Conservation Officers are investigating both
incidents.
