Man Injured in Hunting Accident

Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner said a man was shot in the face by his friend in a hunting accident.

Wagner said the pair were quail hunting in the 6500 block of West A street Wednesday when a 47 year old man shot at a quail and accidentally hit his 48 year old friend.

The man was taken to Bryan LGH West where he was treated and released. Wagner said he was lucky because he was only hit with one pellet from the shotgun.
