Man shot while hunting for turkeys

(Contact) A man is in the hospital after a hunting accident that occurred
around 6:15 p.m. Saturday evening in Meigs County.
Officials with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said there were
two hunters out hunting for turkey. The two were apparently not hunting in
the same party.
One of the hunters was reportedly was on private property without
permission when he shot the other hunter.
The victim suffered wounds to his head and arms, but his injuries are
said to be not life-threatening
