Man, 20, shot in hunting accident is recovering

A young man was shot yesterday in a hunting accident near Brown and Stadium roads in Oregon authorities said.

Joshua Heintschel, 20, of Oregon, was in fair condition in Mercy Saint Vincent Medical Center. The accident occurred about 8:15 a.m. in a field in the 5600 block of Brown, where Mr. Heintschel and a friend were hunting geese. No one was charged, Oregon police said.
