WI: Hunter dies after falling from tree stand

TAYLOR COUNTY (WAOW) -- Officials have released more information about a hunting accident on September 15th, 2009 in the Town of Maplehurst.

Taylor County Medical Examiner Scott Perin says 65 year old Jack David of Marshfield had a heart attack before falling 16 feet from a tree stand.

According to a press release, Perin also concluded that David was deceased before hitting the ground.

Other hunters found David under a tree Tuesday afternoon.
