Utah boy shots self with hunting rifle

DUTCH JOHN, Utah (AP) - Authorities say a Utah boy who shot himself with
a hunting rifle is expected to survive.
The Daggett County sheriff's office says the 15-year-old boy was
airlifted Saturday from Trial Creek in Ashley National Forest.
The boy's muzzleloader accidentally discharged as he stood up and tore a
bullet through his abdomen. Deputies say the boy is in serious but stable
condition and is expected to recover.
