NJ: Hunter falls from tree in Hillsborough
Hunter falls 18 feet from tree stand in wooded area in Hillsborough

A 47-year-old township hunter was injured Tuesday where he fell about 18
feet from a tree stand in a wooded area at 500 Hillsborough Road.
Fred Dahms, of Woods Road, fell from the stand while bow hunting on
private property at about 5:50 p.m., police said.
Dahms appeared to have suffered broken bones in the accident, police
said.
The victim was taken from the woods by emergency workers and transported
to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Responding to the scene were Hillsborough police, the Hillsborough Rescue
Squad, the Somerset Medical Center Mobile Intensive Care Unit and
Hillsborough Fire Co. 3.
