Man Injured in Crawford County Hunting Accident

A weekend hunting accident in Crawford County sent one person to the hospital.

A news release from Sheriff Lewis Walker says a man accidentally shot himself in the leg while he was hunting, off of Dixon Road around 8 a.m. Saturday.

The man went to the hospital, but Walker says his injuries don't appear life-threatening.

Walker didn't release the man's name.

The Crawford County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Natural Resources are investigating.
