Watertown man shot in hunting accident
A Watertown man is in stable condition after being accidentally shot by
his hunting partner early Friday morning.
State Police say 45 year old Joseph A Tufo is at University Hospital in
Syracuse with neck and shoulder injuries from a shot from a .270 caliber
rifle.
The incident happened about 6:30 a.m. between the CSX railroad and Route
81 about 1 1/2 miles from State Route 177 in the town of Adams.
His hunting partner was 43 Year old Luke T. Netto, of Duffy Road,
Watertown.
State Police said their investigation is ongoing and no further
information would be released until it's complete.
D.E.C. police are also involved in the investigation.
