Georgia man found dead in tree stand

PIKE COUNTY,ILL. -- A 68-year-old Georgia man is dead after a hunting accident in Pike County, Illinois earlier this week.

Weyman Chandler was found Thursday shortly before 6:30 in his tree stand. He was found at a rural hunting site south of Milton in Montezuma Township.

The Pike Coroner's office says the preliminary cause of death is positional Asphyxia. The investigation still continues.
