Valley Teen Shot In Hunting Accident
A Valley teen is in critical condition after being shot during a hunting
accident.
19 year old John Richardson's father tells WTWO his son and a friend were
hunting Thursday night around 5:30.
He says his friend saw movement and fired, striking Richardson.
The 12 gage bullet went through his colon and kidney. Doctors have tried
to remove it with no success.
Richardson's father, also named John, hopes this accident will be a
lesson to other hunters to be very careful when hunting.
Richardson was wearing an orange hat at the time, but because it was
getting dark and cloudy, his friend did not see him.
