Man recovering after hunting accident Friday
Jonathan Phillips, 25, of Madison, is expected to recover from injuries
received Friday in a hunting accident in Scottsboro.
Phillips, who was hunting with two friends, received injuries in the
thigh and groin area. His shotgun went off when he was pulling it along the
ground by the barrel while duck hunting near Mink Creek.
Members of the Scottsboro police and fire departments, Alabama Marine
Police and emergency medical personnel from Highlands Medical Center and
AirEvac responded to the scene.
