Man shot by hunter in Jessamine County
A man is recovering after being shot by a hunter on his own property.
It happened on Sulphur Well Road, in Jessamine County, Sunday night.
The sheriff's office says 69-year-old Gene Albanese was accidentally shot
by a man who was turkey hunting on his property with permission and thought
he was a turkey.
Albanese was hit by turkey shot in the head and side, he is expected to
recover.
