Hunter hurt after fall from tree stand
UHRICHSVILLE, OH - Uhrichsville firefighters assisted paramedics with
rescuing a hunter who fell from a tree stand Saturday afternoon at a
property on 7500 Blizzard Ridge Rd.
The incident was reported at about 5:15 and Smith Ambulance paramedics
were sent to the scene. The victim, a man, fell about 20 to 25 feet and
sustained multiple injuries, said fire Lt. Rick Kinsey. Firefighters took
the victim, whose name was unavailable, through the woods to a waiting
medical helicopter. Kinsey said he believes the man was flown to an Akron
hospital. Further details were unavailable.
