ND: Hunter shot by 14-year-old while turkey hunting

Man injured while turkey hunting

A twin cities man suffered injuries to his face, neck, chest and arms when he was shot while turkey hunting in Otter Tail county. A 14-year old boy mistook 49-year old Robert Harris for a turkey and shot him. It occurred while Harris was in thick brush. The boy was using a 20-gauge shotgun. Harris was able to make it a parking area and was taken to the Fergus Falls hospital for treatment.
