Man injured in hunting accident
Chillicothe, Mo. - The Livingston County Sheriff's Department, along with
the Department of Conservation, is investigating a bow and arrow accident in
the area of Liv 423 and Liv 428 in Dawn.
The incident occurred Sunday evening. The Livingston County Sheriff's
Department assisted the Dawn First Responders and Chillicothe Department of
Emergency Services with a call of a young male having been shot with a
broad-head tipped arrow in the hip. Life Flight Eagle was called to the
scene. Initial reports state that this was a hunting accident.
The person who was reported to have shot the victim has been questioned,
the sheriff's report stated.
