Teenage Girl Shot in Craig Co. Hunting Accident
Craig Co.,VA- A 15-year-old girl is recovering after being shot in a
hunting accident on Saturday.
Officials with the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries say
the girl was hunting with family members near Little Mountain Road when she
was shot in the chest by a hunting rifle around 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
The teenager was airlifted to the Roanoke Memorial Hospital for her
injuries, and is now listed in good condition at this time.
The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries is investigating the
shooting.
