Hunter Shot

The Salem man accidentally shot by a Fairmont hunter remains at Ruby Memorial Hospital in good condition.

State Police in Doddridge County say 30 year old Lucas Flannigan was shot in the left hip around 8:00 Monday morning in Cold Water near the Lewis and Doddridge County lines.

State Police and The Division of Natural Resources are working together on the investigation, and plan to charge the shooter with multiple misdemeanors, including negligent shooting.
