Fairmont Man Recovering From Hunting Accident
Gary Patterson, 27, fell from a tree stand Tuesday night.
FAIRMONT -- A Fairmont man is recovering after falling from a tree stand
Tuesday night.
Gary Patterson, 27, was in a tree stand near Hampton Road in Bellview.
According to the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources, Patterson
fell 25 feet to the ground.
Patterson was flown by HealthNet to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Officials with the DNR interviewed Patterson on Wednesday. No charges
will be filed in the incident.
Patterson is in stable condition, and is expected to make a full
recovery, according to authorities.
