Possible hunting accident probed

WAVERLY - Authorities are investigating a possible hunting accident this
morning in Wood County.
Ambulances and officers with the West Virginia Department of Natural
Resources have been dispatched to the Brierwood area off W.Va. 2 north of
Parkersburg, a spokesman with Wood County 911 said.
Additional details were unavailable.
Today is the first day of gun deer season in West Virginia. The state
estimates more than 280,000 hunters will be in the state for the two-week
season.
