Man Wounded In Hunting Accident Near Tekoa

SPOKANE, Wash. -- A man suffered a gunshot wound due to an accidental
discharge while hunting near Tekoa Friday.
The man was out hunting with a group of people when there was an
accidental discharge of a weapon, striking him in the leg.
The hunting party drove to the Tekoa Market where one of the employees
just happened to be an EMT and helped stop the bleeding and treat the wound.
The man was then transported to a hospital for medical treatment. The
wound does not appear to be life threatening.
