Men missing
November 29, 2010
The Coos County Sheriff's Office is looking into a report of two men who
didn't return home Sunday after a hunting trip.
According to a sheriff's office report, 55-year-old Jeri Pierce called at
11:24 p.m. to report that her husband, 70-year-old Wesley Pierce, and his
friend, James Cato, 40, went hunting and hadn't come back.
A Coos County dispatcher said she believed deputies were searching for
the men, but had no further details.
Coquille police attempted to locate the men on Fairview Road early this
morning but were unsuccessful.
