Hunter Trapped In Woods For Hours

December 11, 2010

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. -- Crews in Schuylkill County worked for seven hours to rescue a man trapped in the woods Saturday.

Crews at the scene said the hunter fell out of his tree stand in a wooded area near West Penn and East Brunswick Townships. Just before 5:00 p.m. they were able to get him out of the woods and load him into a medical helicopter. Witnesses at the scene say the man is from Lancaster.
