Man hospitalized after falling from hunting platform

A man fell 50 feet from a hunting platform at Rooster Ranch in Sanilac
County’s Greenleaf Township, according to a report received this morning by
Sanilac County Central Dispatch.
Matthew Johnson, 30, of Greenleaf Township was taken in a helicopter from
the scene to a Flint area hospital for treatment of undetermined injuries.
Johnson had been cleaning snow from the platform and slipped through the
open trap door, falling to the ground, according to a statement from the
Sanilac County Sheriff Department.
