Missing hunter found dead in Montgomery County park

A hunter missing since Monday was found dead this afternoon in a Montgomery County park.

According to Maryland Department of Natural Resources spokesman Sgt. Albert, the victim was reported missing this morning at about 10 a.m.

He was located after a foot search at the Patuxent River State Park in Montgomery County.

He had parked in Howard County off of Hipsley Mill Road.

His body was found in a tree stand and will not be moved until a medical examiner is able to investigate.

The identity of the victim is not available yet.
