Duck hunter who drowned identified York County man dies after boat
capsized

YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) - A York County man drowned early Monday morning
in northern Poquoson after the boat he was in capsized.
According to the Virginia Marine Resources Commission , the man that
drowned, 24-year-old Isaac Bowels, was duck hunting with 28-year-old
Lawrence Hansford on the Chesapeake Bay just after 7 a.m.
Virginia Marine Police said the accident happened in frigid water and
that Bowls likely suffered hypothermia.
The accident happened only feet away from Brian Lockwood's backyard in
Lion's Creek.
