Vinton Man Injured in Hunting Accident

Bedford Co., VA - A Vinton man is in the hospital with serious injuries
after falling 14 feet from a tree stand. The Department of Game and Inland
Fisheries say 28-year-old Anthony Grimm was hunting from the tree stand
before he fell.
Grimm was medflighted to Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he is being
treated for back injuries.
The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday off Walnut Shell
Drive. DGIF says the accident is still under investigation.
