Hunter suffers fatal fall from tree stand in Wesley Chapel

February 1, 2011

A man who was apparently hunting fell out a tree stand and died Tuesday night, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.

The victim, who hasn't been identified, fell and died on private property in a wooded area of Wesley Chapel. The property is near the intersection of Quail Hollow Boulevard and Green Willow Run, the sheriff's office said.

Investigators described the victim as a middle-age man.

The case remains under investigation.
