Authorities: Hunter Shot in Glenwood Township
A 27-year-old man was shot Saturday in a hunting accident in Glenwood
Township.
According to the St. Croix County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to
a report of a person who was shot while hunting in the area of 300th St. and
130th Avenue.
Authorities say a group of people were hunting coyotes when Adam Jeske,
27, of Glenwood shot at a coyote that was being chased by a dog.
Andrew Jeske, also of Glenwood, was in the area and was shot in the upper
chest by Adam.
Jeske was taken to Baldwin Hospital, and was later transferred to Regions
Hospital in St. Paul. He is listed in stable condition at Regions Hospital.
The incident is under investigation by the St. Croix County Sheriff's
Office and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
