Saline County authorities say a man who failed to return from hunting trip has been found dead

April 21, 2011

BENTON, Ark. An Alexander man who disappeared while hunting in Saline County has been found dead.

Authorities say the body of 50-year-old Ronnie Arther was reported missing Tuesday after failing to return from a hunting trip in western Saline County. Sheriff's Lt. Scotty Courtney told The Saline Courier that Arther's body was found later that day.

Courtney said foul play is not suspected but the body has been sent to the State Crime Lab for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
