A local hunter is conscious and after he was accidentally shot in the
head earlier this morning by a hunting companion.
The man was reportedly walking around just before he was airlifted to a
local hospital.
The accident took place near Bois D'Arc near Farm Road 35 just north of
highway 266 in western Greene County.
