A Sulphur teen was critically injured after being shot by a friend while
hunting Sunday.
Murray County Sheriff’s Deputy Cody Harper said the incident happened on
private property six miles west of Sulphur at 11 p.m.
Three juveniles were hunting when one accidentally shot another with a
.22 caliber rifle.
The bullet struck the victim in the shoulder area. Harper said the teen
suffered lung damage and remains in intensive care at an Oklahoma City
