A 39-year-old man has died in a hunting accident.
The Michigan State Police Care Post report Sean Monschau of
Lapeer was accidentally shot and killed while duck hunting in the
Fish Point State Wildlife Area in Tuscola County.
The tragedy occurred around 7:45 a.m. Thursday.
Michigan State Police say they’re continuing to investigate what
happened, but they are currently calling the death an accident.
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources encourages hunters
of every game to be aware of safety precautions and laws. You can
