Troy Hansen Was With Friend Near Arlington
The Dodge County Sheriff's Office said a
Bennington man was killed in a hunting accident on Sunday near
Arlington.
Troy Hansen, 38, was hunting with a friend in a field in
southeast Dodge county about 7 a.m.
Investigators said the pair separated and Hansen's friend heard
gunshots followed by a single shot. He called out for Hansen and
eventually found him.
Deputies said Hansen died from a shot from his own gun. They have
ruled out suicide and foul play. Investigators said it was a tragic
accident.
