CLEAR LAKE —A 45-year-old Clear Lake man was shot in the forearm
Saturday afternoon in what authorities say was a hunting-related
accident.
About 2:08 p.m. Saturday, Sherburne County deputies were called
to River Road and 95th Avenue in Clear Lake Township.
They found Kurt Goenner with a single wound from a shotgun slug,
according to a statement issued by the sheriff’s office.
The slug was fired from a shotgun used by Dana Hartung, 40, also
of Clear Lake. No criminal charges are expected, the sheriff’s
office said.
Goenner was in fair condition at St. Cloud Hospital Saturday
night.
