November 8, 2011

From KEYC.TV

A hunter has his hat shot off in a shooting accident and sustains only minor injuries. 37–year–old Danny Salmon of Jackson says he was hunting near the Loon Lake area when he heard multiple gunshots and then 1 slug struck the front of his hat, cut through his hair and exited the rear of his hat.

He was treated at the Sanford medical center in Jackson for a minor gunshot wound. The Jackson County Sheriff's office is investigating the incident.
