St. Croix County (WQOW) - A hunter is badly hurt after falling
from a tree stand in St. Croix County.
It happened Saturday afternoon, south of Baldwin. Jeremy Gedatus
fell about 20 feet, and landed on his face. The Elk River, Minn. man
called 911 with his cell phone. He told rescuers he had no feeling
from his waist down.
Doctors say he has an apparent broken back, facial fractures and
a broken hand. He is in critical condition.
