CORPUS CHRISTI - A hunter in Duval County was able to call for
help after he accidentally shot himself in the stomach today.
He was transported to Christus Spohn Memorial by Halo Flight this
afternoon to undergo emergency surgery for his injuries.
We're told the accident happened around noon today between San
Diego and Benavides.
The man in his mid-70s was unable to provide authorities with his
exact location, but officials were able to track the man's phone's
using the internal GPS feature to find him.
He was conscious and moving as he arrived at the hospital.
